Welcome, New Students!
There are no requirements for white belt, once
you've enrolled in our program you are
automatically a white belt. There are, however,
some rules that you should be familiar with.
Paradise Karate Rules:
1. Always wear complete uniform, neat and clean, with belt
tied correctly. Never put your belt on the floor.
2. No gum, candy, food or drinks permitted in the Dojo
(water only is permitted).
3. No horseplay before, during, or after class.
4. Show respect to yourself, classmates, the Dojo, and
Sensei at all times. Show courtesy (bow) to Sensei when
you or they enter the Dojo.
5. If you arrive late to class, stand along side the wall until
Sensei invites you to join the class.
6. Always follow directions of Sensei or Sempai without
questioning, complaining, or whining.
7. No talking during class unless told otherwise.
8. No leaning on walls, mirrors, or punching/kicking bags.
9. No shoes on mats (students).
10. No sparring permitted without complete protective gear.
